Wolfgang Schwartz­kopff started his professional career at UBS. There he gained in depth experience in the areas of Leveraged Finance / Minority Equity as the lead for the markets Italy and Spain. In 1997 he joined Apax Partners / Altium Capital as Corporate Finance Director.

In addition to many years of experience in active investment management, Wolfgang Schwartz­kopff managed numerous M&A and capital market transactions and built up the Altium Group's fundraising activities. Before founding Schwartz­kopff Partners AG in January 2008, he was co-founder of the Swiss branch of the investment bank equinet ( known today as Pareto Securities AS) and its managing director for four years.

His industry experience includes Renewable Energies, Software, Automotive and Robotics. He has profound knowledge in the area of family businesses and the development of SMEs.

Wolfgang Schwartz­kopff is chairman/member of several boards of directors in Switzerland and Germany.

During his studies of Inter­na­tio­nal Business Ad­mini­stra­ti­on at the University of Innsbruck, Michael Hering was able to gain experience during two one-year stays abroad in Australia and the USA. In addition, he was co-founder of the student consultancy "Icon-s - consulting by students".

Prior to joining Schwartz­kopff Partners in 2012, Michael Hering gained experience during the graduate trainee program of UBS AG in Zurich, with positions in various departments of Wealth Management, among others in UBS Small & Midcap M&A. Afterwards he worked in the area of Strategy & Business Development in UBS Wealth Management.

With his operative experience in the software industry (a.o. as CFO) he supports the investments of Schwartz­kopff Partners AG in the areas of strategy and finance.

Janine Krattiger is responsible for the office management. Beyond this, she supports the team and is actively involved in project management. With her profound knowledge and experience in human resources, she supports the investments of Schwartz­kopff Partners AG in admi­ni­stra­ti­ve matters.

Before joining the team, Janine Krattiger worked in the HR department of Swiss Re, Zuger Kantonalbank and Siemens.

Sean Siegenthaler supports the team of Schwartz­kopff Partners AG. He is pursuing a Master's degree in Accounting and Corporate Finance at the University of St. Gallen and holds a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich. He developed his analytical skills working in underwriting at two global corporate insurers.
